Alison Kaplan
Program Coordinator, Community Solutions for Health Equity
Alison Kaplan is Program Coordinator for the Community Solutions for Health Equity program. In this role, she provides administrative and programmatic support to the CSHE team. Prior to joining Community Catalyst, Alison worked as a grant writer at The Chicago Lighthouse supporting individuals who are blind, visually impaired, multi-disabled and veterans. She then attended graduate school where she assisted with policy work and program support for youth violence prevention initiatives and supported health outreach efforts for immigrant populations. Alison holds a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology and Public Health from The Ohio State University and Master of Social Work and Master of Public Health degrees from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she specialized in Organization and Community Practice and Community Health Sciences.
