Delay on BBB is already having negative impacts, especially on parents, as Omicron surges and the last remaining supports from the American Rescue Plan expire with nothing to take their place. Next week the Senate needs to be held accountable for their inaction, reminded of what’s at stake, and feel the pressure to keep the promises they made to all of us.

Since we don’t know what legislative path will be taken to try and accomplish the BBB agenda, there is not a specific action we can demand of legislators at this point beyond “get it done.” Instead, this toolkit will help you highlight top-priority healthcare issues and amplify the needs of your community members.

• Closing the Medicaid Coverage Gap 

• Home and Community-Based Services 

• Prescription Drug Reform 

• Enrollment Assistance

It is an exhausting time to be an advocate right now. We don’t want to ask folks to simply “keep up the drumbeat” when resources, energy, and patience are running low.
