Justice in Aging Balance Billing Protections Webinar Materials Now Available

Justice in Aging hosted a webinar on protections for people dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid, including Qualified Medicare Beneficiaries (QMBs), against charges for Medicare co-payments and co-insurance. The webinar featured Deputy Director, Edo Banach, from the Medicare-Medicaid Coordination Office (MMCO). Recording of the webinar is available here.

New Interactive Tool on Delivery, Payment Reforms within Medicaid

A new interactive tool from the Kaiser Family Foundation provides an overview of the increasing number of delivery system and payment reform efforts that are underway as alternatives to traditional fee-for-service arrangements in state Medicaid programs across the country. The tool is designed to provide users with an environmental scan of the activities underway in different states and to help introduce complex concepts needed to further examine these efforts.
