The CMS Medicare-Medicaid Coordination Office will be facilitating a webinar series in May and June for providers and health care professionals, front-line staff with health plans and practices and stakeholders to introduce and explore the many uses of the Disability-Competent Care Model to enhance their capacity to integrate care for adults with disabilities.

Thursday, May 28 (1:00 – 2:00PM Eastern) Webinar: New York State’s Ambitious DSRIP Program: A Case Study
Health Management Associates (HMA) is hosting a webinar on New York’s Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) Program. Participants will:
- learn about the key components in this new program
- help inform the thinking of other states considering applying for waivers
- understand the unprecedented levels of cooperation that will be required between health care organizations, behavioral health providers, and the community-based health care and social service delivery systems
- learn about the quality improvement metrics and goals that must be met, and the challenges providers face in truly moving the needle in the transition to value-based payment
- assess the impacts on stakeholders as DSRIP moves forward, including a look at the implications for providers, payers, health systems, and local communities.
