The CMS Medicare-Medicaid Coordination Office will be facilitating a webinar series in May and June for providers and health care professionals, front-line staff with health plans and practices, and stakeholders to introduce and explore the many uses of the Disability-Competent Care (DCC) Model to enhance their capacity to integrate care for adults with disabilities.

State Medicaid programs increasingly are moving their long-term services and supports programs to managed care. But the transition is not without its potential pitfalls for Medicaid beneficiaries and their advocates.
This webinar will discuss how particular program policies may influence availability of services and the ability of consumers to access those services. The information will be useful to advocates from any state with a Medicaid managed care program and will address both individual and systemic advocacy strategies.
