Andi Mullin

Director, State and Local Technical Assistance

Andi Mullin is the Director of State and Local Technical Assistance. In this role, she oversees all of Community Catalyst's technical assistance to state partners, including management of selected grant programs. In addition to funding support for some partners, Andi oversees provision of technical assistance to state-based organizations on policy analysis, grassroots organizing, communications, resource development, coalition-building, advocacy/outreach tools and campaign strategies. Prior to taking on this new role, Andi held two different positions at Community Catalyst, both of which involved providing technical assistance to a portfolio of state-based partners working on innovative health reform initiatives.

Before coming to Community Catalyst in 2013, Andi spent 15 years as a lobbyist and political operative in Massachusetts working for community organizations and labor unions. She has developed strategies for and spearheaded a variety of winning legislative and political campaigns in Massachusetts, and has developed a particular expertise in both grassroots organizing and in leading large coalitions of disparate groups working together on a common interest. Andi holds a BA from Boston College, an MA from the University of Texas, and an MPA from Harvard University

Community Catalyst works to ensure consumer interests are represented wherever important decisions about health and the health system are made: in communities, courtrooms, statehouses and on Capitol Hill.
