Final Short-Term Plan Rule is Latest Piece in the Health Care Sabotage Puzzle
On Wednesday, the Trump administration released a final rule that will expand the availability of short-term health plans.
Program and Advocacy Coordinator, State Consumer Health Advocacy Program
Marissa Korn serves as a Program and Advocacy Coordinator for the State Consumer Health Advocacy Program (SCHAP). In this role, Marissa offers technical assistance, campaign strategies and capacity building tools to consumer health advocates promoting affordable health coverage in key states, while also providing programmatic support to the SCHAP program.
Prior to joining Community Catalyst, Marissa interned at the Barbara Lee Family Foundation, an organization that advances women’s equality and representation in American politics. Marissa has also worked as a legislative intern for State Senator Karen Spilka, assisting in policy research and constituent services. Marissa holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics, with a minor in Women’s Studies, from Northeastern University.
