Maya Nakamura

Program Coordinator, Community Solutions for Health Equity

Maya Nakamura serves as the Program Coordinator for the Community Solutions for Health Equity (CSHE) program. In this role, she provides programmatic and administrative support to the program and helps support our network consumer health advocates.

Prior to joining Community Catalyst, Maya interned with the Asian Task Force Against Domestic Violence (ATASK) based in the greater Boston area. She also served as a Residential Counselor at ATASK’s emergency shelter. Maya holds a Bachelor of Science in Behavior and Health from Boston University’s Sargent College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences where she also minored in Japanese Language and Literature.

Community Catalyst works to ensure consumer interests are represented wherever important decisions about health and the health system are made: in communities, courtrooms, statehouses and on Capitol Hill.
