POSITION SUMMARY:
Your role as an HR Generalist will be far from one-dimensional. You’ll undertake a wide range of HR tasks, like organizing trainings, administering employee benefits and leaves and crafting HR policies. You will use Human Resources Information Systems to ensure all employee records are up-to-date and confidential. And you’ll also act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics. The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.

RESPONSIBILITES:
- Partner with Hiring Managers on full-cycle recruitment initiatives. Manage the Talent Acquisition activities such as scheduling and conducting phone screenings and preparing onboarding paperwork for an average of 15 job requisitions
- Ensures HR actions are processed equitably, timely and accurately (i.e., new-hire, transfers, promotions, and terminations)
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting policies and helping resolve work-related problems.
- Tracks program compliance and administration of (i.e., FMLA, LOA,)
- Recommends improvements from analysis of HR metrics and / or observation of HR processes in conjunction with Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging strategy.
- Coordinates and / or deliver New Hire Orientation
- Facilitates onboarding, compliance training, HR policies and procedures communication, and management development training
- Act as liaison between employees and insurance providers and resolves benefits-related issues
- Research, resolves, or escalates issues related to payroll, vacation, leave, and / or benefits
- Answers employee and management questions regarding HR Policies
- Tracks HR Metrics (i.e., exit interviews, service levels– Payroll / HR administration, sick bank accruals)
- Act as back up in processing semi-monthly payroll
- Help with set-up and reporting with State Tax filing
- Analyze payroll data, identify trends and recommend solutions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws and best practices
- Understand NetSuite HR Suite People System and how it integrates with Finance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of five years of Human Resources experience, particularly related to
- recruiting, hiring, benefits/payroll and employee relations. Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Experience centering anti-racism and applying a DEIB lens to HR systems,
- processes/procedures/policies
- Experience using payroll and/or HRIS systems
- Detail oriented, strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures
- Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations across the nation
- Sound judgement and problem-solving skills
- Customer-focused, with high level of compassion and discretion
- Ability to monitor deadlines and act with timeliness when applicable
- Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
- Ability to work in a changing, fast-paced environment
BENEFITS & SALARY
- Salary Range: $65,000- $75,000

- Location: Flexible, can be based anywhere with the USA. If the employee is not based on the East Coast, flexibility in supporting different time zones may be required.
